Galaxy S5 : Android System using too much battery

The S5 came loaded with a lot more stuff on it than a normal phone would ever see.

i turned off everything that I had no use for, and my S5 has been working very well.

i also turn the internet off when the phone is asleep, this is something I do on all of my phones, going way back to the Galaxy S four years ago.
there is no point in having data and wifi up and running if the phone is asleep. asinine.

I'm an egotist, and I hate searching thru those long AT&T identifiers trying to find the one that belongs to me....

I believe this problem is popping back up. My galaxy grand prime has been hit for a few weeks. I did a factory reset (what android customer service suggested), but the issue hasn't resolved. My battery is struggling to make it above 55% even after charging with the phone off for 12 hours. I DID even get a new battery ordered in case it was a battery issue, but alas, it is not. Same problem on both batteries.
