Galaxy S5 battery life and app freezes

My Galaxy S5 battery life is very low and some times I have app freezes. Someone please help me. This is my only phone.

Welcome to Android Central.

Try a Cache Partition wipe, which will cause no loss of personal data. This may help:

Then charge fully and use the phone normally and, before you come to recharge at the end of the day, tell us what your main battery usage is, as shown in Settings, Battery.

That will do for a start. We'll take it from there.

Any problems in getting even that far, let us know.

Also, if you have also just updated to Lollipop a factory reset will help as many people on this forum have reported.

Before you do it, could you share your battery usage from the last week/days? There could be some apps "sucking" all the battery from the phone.

Regarding App freeze, I recommend clearing cache of such apps.
