Android Central Question
I have a SGS5 g900t that had a microphone problem. I bought a new mic / usb charge board and installed it. No problems with the installation, but my wifi seems to be wonky. It constantly connects and disconnects. I've run a ping on the connection while it's going through this. It connects, says "No Internet", gets a connection and the pings get replies (about 9) then no replies, then replies (about 4) then no replies then the connection drops and resets and the cycle repeats.
I've replaced the usb charging board again (after my digitizer died so i figured while i was in there...) and it's still doing it. I've tried all the router settings i have (it happens on other networks also anyway...), factory reset, installed custom ROM (Resurrection Remix, android v 6.0.1), cleared cache, dalvik etc etc.
I suppose i'm just wondering if the revision of the usb boards would cause the issue and if there's a work around. I didn't get the revision of the original or replacement boards, but i would think that a newer board rev should work on an older logic board, or will it matter at all?
