Galaxy S5: Question about gallery layout

With my old S3 all my Facebook pictures were in their own separate albums. On my new S5 all of them are in one single album. Is there any way to change this?

If you are seeing them by Date just hit the Menu options on the left and change it to Album, if it's already as Album, but you just have one, then on the right, you will see an option called Create Album, creates them as you wish then drag and drop the photos from one album to the other.

I guess I will try that. Seems like a lot of work though when my old phone didn't put everything into one album. I have over a thousand pictures to sort.

I'm trying to visualize exactly your issue, as I've been passing my albums in my SD Card from phone to phone, from my Galaxy S2, then S4 and now S5.

Only thing I can say is that I already have them in folders on my SD card, I don't know if that's different with you.

It's the photos that have been sync'd from Facebook.

Ohh well, that explains it, I've never sync Facebook photos so maybe that's the reason.

That's still not it. The first pic here is from my S3. It shows all the different albums from my Facebook. The second pic is from the S5. Everything in one album.

Well, I'm glad it's just not me being aggravated with this, lol. I can only imagine Samsung can fix this fairly easily with an update

I am having pretty much the same issue but with my Google + albums... When my Google + pics are synced into the gallery all of the folders that I put my pics in are gone and it just puts all my pics into one folder called Picasa. so now instead of having all my pictures separated into 10 orders I have one folder with 700 pictures in it ....any ideas?

I just recently purchased the Samsung tab pro 10.1 and everything seemed perfectly on that not sure what the difference is its the same version of Android and its Samsung

I have the same problem. On my S4, my facebook pics were sorted by albums, on my S5 they are all in the same folder...

Same issue here. Although if I use Google's "Photos" app they are organized correctly.

I had transferred all my pictures from my PC to the S5 SD card as one file, "Pictures." Now all the albums are preserved.

I keep them under Adobe Photoshop. Copy all your Facebook Albums to your PC under Photoshop. Then use the USB 3.0 cable to move them in one maneuver to the S5 SD card.

I use Gallery on the S5 to view them.

I am too having the same issue. I have number of albums in Facebook and Web Picasa. On Phone, all the photos appearing in one albums. Seems to be a bug in andriod. It was working fine in earlier versions.

Same issue here. Although if I use Google's "Photos" app they are organized correctly.

i tried the photo app from google and the facebook albums wont show. it will only show what's actually on the phone.
