Galaxy S5 Verizon 4.4.4 Issues

Since I didn't see a thread, I figure I might as well make one regarding the inevitable issues that will arise with the 4.4.4 Verizon Update.

Since updating to 4.4.4 here are some of the issues I'm dealing with:

Phone is now in 3G mode most of the time.
Emoji icons are now limited (hand gestures are missing for instance) and input of emoji has become non-responsive and laggy.
Text input is finicky, sometimes words get repeated twice when typing.
Text sometimes lags to send as well.

Overall the phone is operating at a sluggish pace compared to right before the update (no it's not in my head).

Side note: Had the annoying voicemail update non-issue, luckily it was resolved by just setting up the service.

This is no longer a complaint because we all know it will eventually get fixed, just wanted to see who else is also dealing with these issues to validate my sanity.

Actually, there are at least 3 threads on the Verizon upgrade....er, uh, mishap.

1. it deletes your voice mail box and messages, whoopie gum drops, just what I needed, now which doctor's office was it that called me this morning while I was driving a truck????? That damned upgrade ran in spite of me telling it NO NO NO !!!

2. it killed my SMS notification alert sound... the LED works, but no sound. I wrote an alert on that already

3. I'm not liking the way the keyboard is selecting the "alternate character" behind the letter I am wanting to type. long press longer than 300 milliseconds and you get the symbols instead of the letter character. don't 'cha just love to see !@#$%^ in the middle of a word?

4. The camera mostly got fixed

5. Favorites is still mucked up badly.... there is only one way to view it , Grid View, which is obnoxious, and totally unusable. I had to find a different dialer to fix that muck up. * ExDialer - Dialer & Contacts - One I use, of course, that means that I had to reconfigure all of my Speed Dials.... but at least I now have List View back Thank god for small miracles.

6. The SMS screen is showing up when the phone is unlocked. Not always, but more often than not. That is pissing me off big time, you cannot clear it and make it go away. I have to hit the Double Menu key and clear all Tasks..... muck you VZW.....

!@#$%^ WHY IN THE HELL can't those people test this stuff before they send it out?

Yikes! Luckily I don't have any of those issues.
So I take it you aren't experiencing the issues I listed?
Also I should have clarified my opening paragraph with "Since I didn't see a thread about THESE particular issues"...
