Galaxy S5 Verizon Pre-Order Thread

Sweet, did you just get the tracking info this morning? When did you place the order?
Through what method? Email? My "order status" page still has a blank tracking number, but at least has updated from the IP address.
Somebody in my office found out just by looking at the fedex app. Just use that and put your email in. It will tell you what's coming your way.

I really hope that you guys get your phones Friday! I elected to pick it up in store Friday morning right when the doors open. From all the many many times that I called Verizon, they said the phone wouldn't ship until Friday. I guess it will be an interesting next two days. Lol

What fedex app are you talking about? As far as I can tell you can only track by tracking number, not email address.
I just noticed I placed my order on 4.4.2014 but the verizon site shows order was placed on 4.8.2014. Does that mean i am going to get it later than i expected?

I just got off the phone with a Verizon rep because mine said the same. Not sure she was supposed to tell me but she said my phone was "batched" out yesterday and should have it by the 11th. She said because there are so many orders that's why they haven't released tracking numbers yet.
I also just received my tracking number. I just happened to check order status and it was there, they didn't Email update me. Set to arrive Friday, just picked up in Memphis. Yahoo!
where are you guys getting tracking numbers, the only thing i got when i ordered was a preorder order number and all it says when i type it in verizon site is

got my tracking number on the status of order page verizon has on their site. pre-ordered mine at 12am on the 4th. woo!

The wife and I fiinally broke down and ordered ours yesterday afternoon. We're VZ and we lost unlimited data on both lines, but it was apparent to me that we were going to lose that sooner or later anyway unless we bought retail, and that's not happening with her. The wife unit handled the negotiations as she's a hungry shark when it comes to that stuff, she got us a good deal, lots of data (far more than we actually ever used even when I was stuck in the hospital for several weeks with a sick relative) spent over an hour on the phone with them, actually hung up on them once or twice, lol. Anyway, we have one black and one white on the way, the "ship by" date is 4/14. We're really looking forward to the upgrade from our Bionics.
Unfortunately no change for me (still only have the IP tracking number). Ordered Monday evening but I'm pretty sure I got it in before the date on Verizon's website changed to the 14th. Fingers crossed it'll update with a real tracking number sometime today.
