No fingerprint scanner. The phone is really nice! I have the white one. The textile buttons have chrome trimmings which make it look very premium.

Just because you're stuck with Verizon and can't have it doesn't mean you need to try to make those of us that have the option feel bad about it. Because I sure don't!

This thing is going to rival the z3 for battery life. If they have to move the speaker to the back for that, and more durability and to waterproof it, that's just great with me. Never thought I'd be able to have the best camera and possibly the best battery life in one phone.

So you got the Blue camo one? Couldn't tell until you posted that shot. Looks more subtle compared to pics online. Which is a good thing imo. Anybody have real world pics of the grey/black version?

Btw, the "action" button on the side can be made the camera button correct?

I have the Grey one. Can't post pictures tonight though. Sorry. Yes it can be programmed to open the camera. The phone also has the double tap the home button to open the camera option though.

Yes, the active button can be used to trip the "shutter". When not in camera mode, it can also be assigned as a hot button to activate 2 apps of your choice. One with a short press of the button and one with a long press of the button. Kinda cool!

No screen on time to be found for some strange reason, but I'd guess it's around 30m.

Again, no screen on time listed (anyone know why?) but I'm running GSAM for the future. I'd estimate 1.5 hours screen on time, and never on Wi-Fi, in a building that gives the phone a bit of strain to maintain 4G/LTE signal.

Random nice improvement - the vibration feature is much stronger than the s5. I missed vibration notifications all the time with the s5.

Yes! Open settings and the very first section you'll see is quick settings and you'll see the active key option toward the bottom of the screen. You'll have the option to set the camera to a short press or a long press. Hope that helps
