Galaxy S6 Edge Gorilla Glass

This gorilla glass is horrible, it gets scratched too easy, this phone is too expensive to have such poor quality glass, I now have to resort to putting that crappy film on my expensive phone just to save the screen, and Samsung needs to stop selling their flip cover cases because surely they are aware of the fact that they are putting terrible scratches on our screens.

That's strange. The screen on my phone is great. Still looks perfect. Not a mark / scratch in sight but in saying that..... Iam still looking for a screen protector ha

All screens will scratch, its inevitable that a tiny piece of dust will cause the most damage.

I've had mine a month, no scratches. No case or protector. That being said, the main point of Gorilla Glass is drop protection. As previously mentioned, glass scratches.

If this forum didn't have the asinine rule of having 10 posts to share a link I'd link a couple YT videos that show this glass is better than iPhone 6.

My screen has a small scratch on it after 2 weeks of careful handling. My previous 2 HTC devices never had a scratch on them.

I can't even say I've been careful with mine. I've had a couple good drops and keep catching myself with stuff in my pocket with it. This phone belongs naked in my eyes. I've got a case..just hate using it.

I wouldn't be surprised if some batches of the glass are better than others. From everything I've read there had been a lot of inconsistency in screen quality.

Personally i have owned god knows how many phones and although i have a cover on my s6 edge, I have always gone naked with previous phones and i cannot remember the last time i had a screen that had marks/scratches on it. Ive often marked the edges and stuff from drops but NEVER had a badly scratched screen nor have i broken a screen! Don't know what the hell you guys do be doing with your phones lol Maybe iam just careful with mine, after all......its glass

I think some just got lucky with their s6 edge. I keep reading people getting scratched screens or backs are scratched. I looked over mine very very carefully before doing anything with it and decided a screen protector was needed. The only thing I'm annoyed about and it's my OCD is I had the phone a week and didn't realize there was tape on the flash/heart rate scanner and when I got it off, there are slight marks not where the heart rate is, you need to look under aabright light but still annoying for a new phone, but not the flash thank God! Just wonder if that is not made out of gorilla glass? I remember how bad my HTC one m8 camera was since it wasnt gorilla glass.
