Whoa! thats even worse than our freezing problem.

I lost all respect for Apple when I had an iPhone 4S that I loved, then it was upgraded to iOS 8 killing its performance completely and there was no way to downgrade so Apple was like trying to force users to get frustrated with their phones and upgrade to the iToy 5 or 5S

No I haven't spoken to Samsung about it because if I take it to the service center, there is no way for me to demonstrate the problem since it happens randomly. Although now after the firmware update it has only happened once unlike before it was happening all the freakin' time.

Secondly, I am sure all they will do is to do a factory reset since they won't be able to reproduce the problem.

I just had to lol at itoy 😀

Mine too. I'm hoping it will fix my battery draining issue.

You must have a rogue app. This device has had awesome battery life before and even better after the update with the "Optimise app" feature.
Try and find out what app is draining your battery if it is that.
Maybe you've got bad network coverage of maybe ur drain is location based.
Either way I'd do a bit of investigating if I were you.

I started off with awesome battery life. I have uninstalled a few things to see if it helps. I have full coverage just about everywhere. AT&T is great here.

After the update my battery lasts a whole day at work when before I used to have to plug up to my battery bank the last hour or 2.... this update has been awesome and made life a little more easier for me.

How are you finding the update Matrix Leader?

I don't know if it is the update causing this or the fact that I switched from Twitter to Fenix as my Twitter app, but now my battery literally lasts 2 days with the same amount of usage whereas in the past I used to charge the phone twice per day.

Another thing I noticed, opposite to what everyone here says, if I would install Package Disabler, I would have battery drain like no tomorrow. The only thing that I did with Package Disabler is to disabled the ANT+ Radio Services related stuff and disable the market feedback agent but it literally destroyed my battery. So I did another factory reset, this time didn't install Twitter but Fenix instead, didn't install package disabler, and this firmware update, I changed my stance about this phone from a piece of garbage to a phone I love. I hated it initially as it was always connected to the charger it was like a walkie talkie with limited battery life.

Although this has nothing to do with the battery, I installed the Google Now Launcher and I'm loving the simplicity of it and the snappiness. Everything is on one page for me now and if multiple apps pertaining to the same category, they are placed within sub-folders, like media, files, etc.
