I have a new-ish Galaxy S6 (only three weeks old) which started exhibiting a weird behavior the last few days. It will occasionally get into a mood whereby pressing (NOT long-pressing) the Home button brings up Google Assistant, instead of bringing me to my Homescreen as it should.
The only way I can fix it is to Restart the phone, which almost seems to indicate a software issue, not an electrical/mechanical problem with the button itself.
Driving me nuts. Any suggestions will be much appreciated.
