Galaxy S6 won't hold cache on school wifi

[Android Central Question]

When I first purchased my galaxy S6 it worked with my school's wifi perfectly, but a few months ago it started having a problem. The phone would connect to the network, hold a signal for about 3 seconds, then automatically disconnect. I tried forgetting and reconnecting to the network and that didn't help. I also cleared the cache a couple times and while it stayed connected for about 30 seconds, it still disconnected. I talked to the IT person at my school and she couldn't figure out what the problem was. If anyone could help me with this it would be greatly appreciated. My provider is Verizon.
