Not sure it has gorilla glass 5? Even on the official website there is no mention of gg5.

Whilst GSMArena states, "Corning Gorilla Glass (unspecified version)", whatever that means!
Verizon's own spec's for the S7 Edge, G935V, and S7, G930V, appear not even mention Gorilla Glass.
Likewise with AT&T for the S7, G930A, or the S7 Edge, G935A.
Whilst Corning do not mention either Gorilla Glass 5 or the Galaxy S7/Edge on their site, here.
This is deja vue for me when, on the Galaxy S4, it was discovered and confirmed by Samsung and Corning's, that Gorilla Glass 3 was not used on all models, (some were U.S. carrier models), to save money for the carriers. Gorilla Glass 3 not on all Galaxy S4's!!!. Who knew then that Samsung changed hardware spec's if required by carriers. for their own models!
(TOP TIP: Do not rely on 3rd party ad's/reviews for correct spec' information. They were wrong before. Unless either Samsung or your carrier directly confirm a spec, treat it with suspicion.)

The turbo 2 is in a league of it's own with regards to resistance to drops. It can withstand a 900 FOOT DROP and not shatter. Now admittedly there is some damage to the frame and the screen protector did get partially mangled and would need to be replaced but otherwise the phone was still operational.
On the s7/S7 Edge, I wouldn't expect it to survive even 10% of that drop onto concrete without shattering the screen.
