Galaxy S7 Edge, Samsung Email, sent emails don't show up in sent folder?

Galaxy s7 edge, using samsung email app. i use microsoft outlook on my desktop. any sent emails using the s7 do not appear in the sent folder. all sent emails using outlook are there. i've looked for answers, synced the app, reinstalled the app, but no luck.

If you long press the Samsung email app then tap info >scroll to permission are they all enable?

Who's the email provider you're using? Is it an outlook.com account, or something else? Do you know if you added it to your Samsung Email app using the IMAP or POP3 server?
