galaxy s7 nougat europe

Had this reply on Facebook.... Ik read this as don't expect anything soon :-(
More bull**** from Samsung.
Notice... Somewhere in the next WEEKS!

So the excuse is VoLTE now...but proximus still is the only one tgat got it in belgium and tgey didnt care about VoLTE....

I got my upgrade a few weeks ago. On BT in the UK. One thing I've noticed is there doesn't seem to be a way of selecting multiple photos in the gallery any more. Before the update you just long pressed and then selected the photos you wanted to share, delete or whatever. Am I missing something, or has the update removed the ability to do this?

This still works for me on nougat, using unlocked XEU in uk.

Strange. I don't get the option any more when I long press. I'm currently having to use Google Photos as a workaround.

If you have not already done so, there are two things you can do that may help.

Boot into recovery and wipe the cache partition.

In settings go into the application manager and clear the cache for the Gallery app.

Thanks LineKill. It's cured itself (see my post above). I'll do as you suggested if the problem happens again.

That's cool. Glad to hear it's working for you. We must have been posting at the same time, I didn't see that post before:-)

I sent an email to Samsung asking when I might see the update. I'm with Telus in Canada. Their reply included the statement "We are unable to speculate when/if it will be made available for Canadian mobile devices."
I was shocked and disappointed. This may well be my last Samsung.
Samsung customer service is atrocious. They have hired muppets

Hmmmm..i'm sadly thinking the same thing..

Hmmm..... This won't be my last Samsung. Sure their customer service is a horror show, but the Galaxy S line of phones are all great. I won't go to another brand of phones just because they take ages to release new firmware updates. That being said.... Come on already, get your **** together and give us Nougat, Samsung!

Oh i think we'll have to wait till android O is out and then MAYBE they will deploy nougat to the rest of us

Did anyone get some news in the meantime?

No....i'm really thinking of installing noigat myself, thing is i now it can be dangerous to do it myself, but this is becoming laughable...we're still waiting for a f***** update that is out everywhere!

Check if the firmware for your device and region is available on Sammobile. Might give you some insight as to wether updating yourself is possible
