No samsung has told on his official twitter page that nougat is out in belgium. I think its carriers that are messing things up, cause the biggest carrier in belgium "proximus" got it, and i think maybe they have a exclusivity with updates.. so they get it first and let others carriers catch up 1-2month later..

Telenet keeps telling me it's Samsung and Google who are responsible for distributing OTA firmware updates. Not them.

Before Verizon released it here in the US one of their CSR's said that they are not responsible for the update Android delivers it to our phone

I sent an email to Samsung asking when I might see the update. I'm with Telus in Canada. Their reply included the statement "We are unable to speculate when/if it will be made available for Canadian mobile devices."
I was shocked and disappointed. This may well be my last Samsung.

Damn! That sucks.... But isn't Canada a "major region"? You'd expect that the update would arrive there soon, no? [slightly off topic] This is the only thing I really hate about Android in general, this fragmentation and letting carriers chose if they even want to distribute an OTA firmware update. iOS is better in that regard [\Off topic]

The strangest thing happened today. I've gotten a notification telling me there was an update available. Ik click on ok, as in download it and it goes to the firmware update screen only to tell me my phone is up to date.

No one does it seems... The guys at Telenet say all responsibility is with Google and Samsung for pushing out the OTA updates. And Samsung tells it's the providers and "Android"....
