Galaxy S9 Autobrightness at night?

I've had multiple Galaxy phones and I noticed that the auto brightness at night is typically a little bit brighter than what's comfortable for me at least. I have an iPhone 6s as my backup phone and I have noticed that is dimmer at night than the S9.

I was just wondering if anybody else had noticed this and my solution is to use darker wallpaper. Overall it's a great phone so this is just a minor complaint.

Next time adjust the screen brightness to the level you need and the phone will remember that brightness level for that ambient light level.
