Galaxy S9 Plus portrait mode/Front camera

I sold my pixel XL 2 and pre-ordered a galaxy s9 plus. I just wanted to try something new because I'll definitely be getting the pixel XL 3 later this year. My question is has anyone heard if the s9 plus will have portrait mode on the front camera? I honestly didn't care for the pixel 2 Xl as a phone overall, but the things I loved about it were the speedy updates and that front facing camera. The front facing camera took thee best portrait mode photos I've ever seen on a phone. Since it's all software tricks I would think the s9 plus should be able to take similar high quality Portrait mode photos on the front camera, but I haven't heard anything.

It doesn't have the refined portrait Mode like the rear camera but it does have Selective Focus which is much the same thing and does a half decent job. The second option is to install the Google Camera app which now supports Portrait Mode for the S9's just like the Pixel
