Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 - won't connect to MAC (osx 10.8)

Kies won't work on my MBP because it's not compatible with mountain lion.

Android File Transfer says that there is no android device connected when I plug my tab in.

Any advice? I currently can't transfer anything to my Tab:-!

Search the market for WiFi File Transfer or WiFi Explorer. Both offer the ability to transfer and manage files via your target machines web browser, and both are super easy to use.
