Gapless Playback?

I used to have gapless playback in both the stock Samsung music app and Play Music. However, that has changed and now I have noticeable gaps between tracks. Poweramp still has the gapless playback however. Does anyone have any idea why this is?

Good question... Gap-less should be mandatory. Programs incapable of it should be derezzed outright, forget the games...
