Gear models, which ones can you make calls from.

I'm thinking about switching from Android wear to Tizen. Samsung lineup is confusing to say the least. I briefly had the S2 3g for Verizon, everything was great except the battery life. My question is what other models are out there that support Bluetooth or 3g calling? Do not necessarily need a standalone watch. Just want to be able to take a call.

I have the Huawei watch now, looking to go to a Samsung SmartWatch. Just curious which models have a speaker.

For Samsung Gear S2 only the 3g model has the speaker. You do not have to activate the Cell phone feature and could use it as a Bluetooth and/or WiFi only connected device. It would then work similar to watches like the Hauwei.

Note: If you do get this watch, and have problems with it not seeing your contacts than connect the watch to the same wifi network that your phone is on and it should then contact the Samsung Mother Ship to sync the contacts. I had to do this with the wife's watch as she did not want the cell phone capability.

The s2 3g from Verizon does.
