Curious what Gear S2 3G (NOT the bluetooth only version) owners are getting on average with their battery life...

1) Average battery life?
2) How often are you running on just the 3G connection away from your phone?
3) If you disable your cellular connection in the settings of the watch for one full day, eliminating it's ability to connect remotely, and run on only BT and wifi like the normal Gear S2, how does that affect your battery life?
4) What have you done, if anything, to improve the battery life since you got the watch? (eg. I've read that restarting your watch after taking it off the dock gave that user a slower drain of the battery over the day). etc. etc.

Thanks!

Hey SMD,

I have had this watch for around a week now and here is what I have noticed :

1) Average battery life?
12-14 hours

2) How often are you running on just the 3G connection away from your phone?

Total of 2 hours or less everyday.
Tested with just 4G one of the days and had it run fine for all of 9-10 hours. I wasnt fidgeting with other apps on the phone and my email alerts are always OFF

3) If you disable your cellular connection in the settings of the watch for one full day, eliminating it's ability to connect remotely, and run on only BT and wifi like the normal Gear S2, how does that affect your battery life?

Still need to try it out.

4) What have you done, if anything, to improve the battery life since you got the watch? (eg. I've read that restarting your watch after taking it off the dock gave that user a slower drain of the battery over the day). etc. etc.
I have been getting the same battery life on all 7 days. I have used the watch to an extent that it dies due to battery going 0 and then charging it in the night. So far I have been able to do it 4 times.

I found with the call forwarding on the battery drain was significant. Yesterday I wore the phone on my belt and connected by BT. Turned on the phone at 8:30am and at 11pm I had 46% battery left. During the day I received about 15 emails and two phone calls maybe total of 15 minutes talk time.
