Gear S2 Overheating

I got my GEA R s2 in November last year. Over the past 3 days it's decided to start overheating to the point of hurting my wrist and a message pops up "cooling down" and it shuts itself down. I called the store they said to bring it in it should be a warranty replacement thing. Heading there now.

What's funny is I went into the store and explained the problem. They checked it out and started the warranty exchange. He said "Oh, I guess you'll be getting a certified S3 frontier replacement. So so happy! He said they're lte as well and I believe the Samsung Pay on them earn points towards the rewards, unlike the s2. Also I think Samsung Pay on s3 works everywhere like the phone, not limited to tap pay like s2. I will have the s3 frontier and exchange the bad s2 either tomorrow or Friday at latest. ☺☺☺

What store is this? That seems really odd because Samsung is still making the S2 so they should have plenty.

I even said "Im not complaining at all, but why the S3 Frontier?" I had wanted that one anyway lol. They said something like they think the S2 wasn't in stock. No arguing here and certified used is fine with me. Will pair nicely with my beloved S8+

It was my Tmobile store near work. Warranty watch is going to Tmobile store by my house.

Just picked up my replacement the s three frontier . I have only had a couple minutes in the already like it much better
