If the adapter is the stock OEM like the one I got from Germany it works fine with the Verizon 3g version of the S2 because that is what I have.

Which band did you get and where. It looks like it might fit the Classic 3g version or with a little modification could be made to fit.

It will fit the regular Classic not the 3G it is a band for the classic. I got it on amazon.

Got the adaptor on the site from Germany got it in one week... Band I got from Amazon comes with the quick release pins. Changing bands is easier than stock OEM sports straps for me now. Yeah my nails get in the way.

I got the adapter from Germany. It said that it was for the 720 "Sport" model, but it works just fine on my 730. The dark gray matches the color of the watch perfectly.

My only problem is finding new watch bands that are small enough to fit my wrist!

The Milanese loop magnetic band will fit just about anyone no matter how big or small if you into the leather look they have some of those with the magnetic loop on those as well all found on amazon.

All of the watchband pics posted thus far appear to have straight ends where the band meets the watch in the adapters (as does mine). I am not satisfied with this and would like to find a band with curved ends so that there is minimal gap between band and adapter interface.
Anyone have any luck finding a suitable band similar to the second band in post #4 with curved ends?
