Gear S2 Sport strap adapter!!

This one came into New York customs, went to Lancaster, PA, then to Jamaica, NY and then back to Germany. Yours got to see much more of the US!
FWIW - if anyone is is interested - they reshipped it on the 18th and I got it yesterday (22nd). Not bad delivery from Germany - 4days - air mail.

I ordered from the German company and received it in 6 days---I guess customs let it through first shot.

I'm happy with the quality of the adapters so far. I don't know if the adapters from China are the same, but the German adapters were easy to install and seem pretty sturdy.

So happy to be able to get "real" watch bands for my non-Classic S2!

It's a game changer for me. Love the flexibility.

Adapter is available from Amazon for $7, they also have bands that include the adapter for <$20. Very long shipping time on some of them though.

I have a set that came with a band I bought and they aren't quite the same quality or color of the OEM ones. (at least the dark one isn't)

Ok, so I FINALLY got my adapter set only from the eBay link. Color is not a perfect match, but it's not bad really. Mine are Stainless Steel, so they are not cheap feeling at all. They can be a little hard to get on and off without a strap, but once they are on, they are on. You have to wiggle them a little to get off, but really not bad considering that I paid less than $7 shipped. I am still in search for a good watch band to put on this as I need one with some extra length. :D

I bought them from eBay too and just got them also. Although, one of the links is bad and won't go in the watch. Maybe it is just a bad item

Anyone have the silver eBay adapters with pics? If the color matches, it'd make a good backup set.

Got mine yesterday. Disappointed with the color and I hate how far the adapter makes the band stick out, but it's way better than the original in terms of looks.

Just wanted to say that so far, no issues with the Samsung one. And the black color matches perfectly. 😉

Same for me I love mine rarely change it now although I have quite a few sports bands.

Yeah, I'd like to have the Samsung but am not going to pay Germany $30 in VAT. Hopefully the cheapo Chinese pair will work until sammy wises up and gets the real stuff over here.

Just finally got the ebay link ones in... they seem to click in appropriately. Now, I just need to get a band

Finally got my strap and adapter

I received my adapters today, about 20 days early according to estimated delivery on Amazon. Color, as others have noted is somewhat lighter than the dark gray watch, but not enough that I wouldn't use them. Unfortunately, neither will latch fully with the watch, although build quality is actually quite good. Will probably request refund from Amazon.

Followup to this: I sent an email to the vendor (in China) via Amazon feedback and they are sending a replacement set via airmail. Don't really think it will make a difference, but at least they respect customer service. I also received my second watch today, the 3G version and will try both sets of adapters on it as well. I also saw a post in another forum where a user used the parts from one of the plastic bands supplied with the watch to fix the Chinese adapters. I tried that, parts were totally interchangeable, but still no cigar for my watch.
