Gear S3 battery life

I'm thinking about upgrading from the S2 because you can't stream music for more than 5 minutes using BT headphones while running before the watch goes into cool down mode. Does the S3 have this same problem? If not, how long of a run can I get streaming spotify from the watch?

For me it's about 10% every half hr while fitness tracking and listening to music at the same time.

Wow! That's amazing! Is that streaming music or playing files already downloaded to the watch? I get about 90 minutes when streaming downloaded files through Bluetooth.

That's music already downloaded to the watch. I reckon you could easily get 4 hrs of fitness tracking and music before your battery starts to get low. Bear in mind if not listening to music then battery life will be even longer

Streaming from Spotify via LTE does consume a battery quite a bit. About 45 mins of workout starting with 100% you will end up with battery percentage by around 60% or less.

Spotify its at first stage and hopefully offline feature and battery conservation will be implemented in the near future but its an awesome app.

I hope so! Hey, can you please tell me if the spotify app on the watch has podcasts? I tried messing with the free version in remote mode but couldn't find a way to access podcasts like you can on the phone app version.

I have a premium account and it looks like Spotify skip the Station and Podcast. Maybe they will include that in their future updates. But I still think its advance and there are so much it can do considering its their first released. I had been waiting for this released. Well worth the premium and it really put the S3 experience to another level.
