so mad/frustrated.

fedex says they delivered my gear s2 on friday...but when i got there, it wasn't there. though there was another package that was delivered from another store for me. so i call fedex and they're "investigating" and i emailed prizelogic--no response yet....

so...either:
1) someone stole it
2)delivery guy kept it for himself
3)delivery guy delivered to someone else

looks like i'm SOL.

Some info on my end getting off the phone from PL. I submitted 3/10, approved 3/12. She told me my order for the S2 (specifically) was sent to fulfillment on 4/20, and I should get it by end of next week which is 8 weeks from approval date. Her explanation for the 4/20 date was they go by the 6-8 week timeline from the approval date. She is unaware (did not see any memos) about substitution of gifts due running out of stock, and I shouldn't worry about it.

I realize this is inconsistent with many other people who got theirs early. Frankly I just didn't want to engage in that discussion because I figured there's no point. I just went so far as to ask about running out of stock and substitutions.

If that's the case he is a damn fool since that watch can be tracked to within ten feet.

I just got a notification from fed ex about a package being on the way. I'm worried that it may be the vr set because the weight is 1.4 lbs instead of the 0.9 lbs everyone is saying their gear S2 is. I submitted mine 3/9 and I'm still showing a shipping date of 4/1 on the promotion site. Fingers crossed it'll actually be the watch.

Keep after them, don't let them bait and switch. It's a well built product. I'll get the VR and pay the 99 bucks, but given the choice I had, I chose the watch because I need it more than I need the VR, and, the watch is worth 3 to 4 times the VR. Keep after them, don't back down or give up the ship *or in this case, the watch*

GeorgeCorazzini: you're my hero if i get my watch back! even if the watch wasn't "activated" can it still be tracked? i'm not too familiar with how the watch works. if that's indeed the case, then awesome! but need to figure out how to go about tracking it down--prizelogic still hasn't responded to my email...

Don't count on that Chat. I spent hours on the phone with them after a verizon rep told me that if I bought the $199 upgrade phone from Best Buy my bill would not go up. Long story short my bill went up $20/line because I was now under contract and they would not honor that Rep's assurance.

They did indeed send me the VR set and claim to have no clue why they sent that instead of the watch because according to them they are still sending watches. I have to wait 5-10 business days to receive directions on how to proceed from a manager smfh. I don't know whether I want to wait or unleash social media hell on them at this point.

I don't understand what's going on. The reps I talked to flat out said out of stock on s2.

But you got a rep saying you will get one after incorrectly sending a VR?

Reps probably aren't caught up or they set one aside for you?

Update: label created 4/20. No movement until today. Delivery tomorrow. Ind to Ohio. Submitted for gear s2. Online order. Weight of pack .9 lbs. Submitted 3/16 aproved 3/18. Received delayed email confirmation for s2 4/7. Complete history. Hopes this helps some. Will confirm package tomorrow.

Nancy did prizelogic email you stating they have shipped your s2 and include a tracking number? If they have not emailed you this yet then the watch is still sitting in Indiana waiting to be shipped. I've been trying to post a reply on here for hours but it kept saying I'm not signed in hmmm weird.

Nancy, if you got that email from prizelogic, and if fedex shows records of its delivery, then I would do the following, be sure it was delivered first! The watch has to be triggered by your carrier to track it down since you never laid eyes or hands on it therefore never registered it or paired it to your cellular handheld phone or to your wireless account. Have you checked with fedex? If it was stolen, then a police report should be filed. They will want some kind of proof that you actually lost the phone through theft so get all you can from fedex showing all the info, also emails from prizelogic showing they sent it and what it was they sent out, and any further proof you can provide to the police. Like I said, be SURE it was delivered before filing a police report for a theft.
