Getting a box around text while typing to send a text message

Is anyone else getting this. I just tried a test by typing "hey there, hello". For the words hey and hello, once the box showed, if you touched the box the word turned into a "hand emoji".

Are you using the message + from Verizon? That can be turned off in settings.

Just something Verizon added to their message+ app to make it more interesting. Really doesn't do anything.....you can type a word and if there's an emoji to match, that word will be highlighted and you have a choice keep the word or use the emoji in place of it. Pretty neat.
