Getting off of GB

I am still on GB (2.3.4/Sense 3.5), unlocked via HTCDEV, Amon Ra recovery, rooted, but otherwise stock.
How is the best way to get to ICS with a stock or near-stock ROM? From what I'm seeing, I will need to wipe (and possibly re-lock) to use an HTC ROM.
I don't need to retain root once I'm on ICS (it would be nice), but I'm not sure where to start - I haven't looked at this for a year, since I first got the phone.

To get the ICS radios and all the benefits of the OS you'll have to run the RUU which does mean relocking and it will wipe your phone.

Or, you could relock and unroot and see if the software update will detect your phone, that way it doesn't get wiped.

You should relock, then flash the latest RUU @ Rezound_Global_ICS_4.03.605.2_Full_RUU_PH98IMG.zip | by wildstang83 for Rezound, then unlock again. Pretty painless really except for setting up your apps again.

I did this last night to get the latest radios, then finally got my phone S-off'ed, then flashed the latest HBOOT, then flashed the CM10.1 ROM from XDA so now I have wonderful Jellybean goodness on my Rezound.
