Android Central Question

I tried using Dr.Fone to recover some photos which were deleted accidentally but after discovering that it required a root I stopped using the device and immediately reset it to factory via safe reboot. I keep getting the "security notice" popup on my galaxy S7 after restarting my phone as the notice tells me to reverse changes (which I want) but have checked multiple times if Knox has been triggered yet it always comes up with 0x0 meaning it has not. Has anyone encountered this problem and if so how do you fix it?

Dr. Fone probably left something in the phone, and it's telling you to let it finish. Let it finish, but don't let it root or recover files. (You can't undelete deleted files without root.)
