While we all wait for the Thunderbolt to become available, I just wanted to point out that based on these threads over the past few weeks, it looks like we're going to have a great community here with this phone. So far everybody has been really awesome, and even through disagreements it's remained civil and polite. I'm really excited to be here for the beginning with you guys.

Yea this forum has killed the Bionic forum. Probably due to the buzz around its release... I have enjoyed lurking, reading, and having my knowledge grow about the good ol' Droider.

Agree completely with OP. One of the 4-5 things that I feel really determines whether a phone is great or not is definitely community support.

I just sold my custom matte-finish Fascinate on eBay last night and went back to my OG Droid for the next week. Needless to say, I'm "all in" with the Thunderbolt.

I was having kind of a bad day at work, (3rd shift) when I started reading the analyses of the commercial for the Tbolt in the other thread and I was actually surprised at how reasonable and funny some of those arguments were! These funny as hell threads make my work day much easier, and I find out new info about my new phone as well!

I'm sure there is going to be updates and bugs I won't be able to figure out myself. still praying that it comes out 14th or 15 ( W/e) it is on verizon and not only best buy. this rumor is the annoyance.. we can all blame apple for this though =)

This forum rocks! I have been posting a few things on crack berry as I wait for this device and they are plain rude lol. I can't stand that site anymore. I love that about all of my android phones I have had because ll the forums are always helpful and many times we move to a new device at the same pace and join the new forum together lol

I stopped following crackberry on google reader about a month ago and haven't been on their forums in ages. Its not a very friendly place.
