We are trying to access my late son's phone (Verizon LG V10) for photos, etc. It has a knock code (which we don't know) and we don't know his PIN either. The phone is on our family account with Verizon.
LG instructed me to use their online service request. I can then get an authorization #, send the phone in, and their service folks will unlock the phone for me (so we can rescue treasured photos, etc.) Unfortunately, their drop down menu on their repair website doesn't include this model. When I try a close match, it is rejected because it doesn't match the IMEI# of my phone.
I'm kind of going in circles with them and I have not found a way to speak with a live human on the phone.
Any advice greatly appreciated
