Getting sick of website spam click bait

Re: Getting sick if website spam click bait

Download the AC forums app. That's what I did, I will literally never visit the crap ac central site again. The forums are still going strong so far.

I second this suggestion, but I do occasionally visit the web version because photo uploading via the forums app can be hit and miss.

Have you tried the Tapatalk app? None of that appears when using Tapatalk.

I tried this before I tried the Forums app, and Tapatalk signed me up for about 3 other sites I never visited before. Needless to say, I deleted those accounts and promptly removed that app. The AC Forums app is built off Tapatalk, without the cross forum compatibility and signups.

I like the layout of the website better and also the ability to upload photos. Plus, less clutter on the phone and no push notifications.

Thanks for the tip. Yeah I don't need unnecessary accounts and annoying emails.

But back to my original post, nothing getting done about this? Our phones are vulnerable to these sites.. it automatically locks my phone up and tried to download something. Guess AC doesn't care?

For what it's worth, you can turn push notifications off on the app.

You can upload photos on Tapatalk. Also you can disable push notifications as well

I prefer the browser version and don't like Tapatalk. But even with sideloaded Adguard I still get some spam on this site - and no where else. It's a disgrace.

I should amend my last post: I do get adds with Adguard but they're embedded and not distracting. At this site I'm getting the same pop-ups shown in the first post.
