Getting stuck on HSPA

I'm on Att post paid. I am on LTE 95 percent of the time but I noticed sometimes on the rare occasions I loose LTE the phone gets stuck on H until I turn off data and turn it back on. Anyone notice this issue? Its not a big deal but a little annoying. I am unsure if maybe it just takes a long time to switch as I usually just do it manually.
