well i've had the samsung galaxy s3 for 6 days,

the Samsung Galaxy S3 was my first andriod phone and i was pretty happy with it.

But being that the DNA has just been released, Im planning on jumping ship to have a more "future proof" phone.

After all i will have this phone for 2 years.

Im going to make the swap on my lunch break :) T-minus 45 minutes.

I don't think i am making a bad decision... am i?

I don't think so. The DNA is in, and if it meets your needs then pull the trigger! I would have considered the gn2 if it wasn't for that disgusting home button and touchwiz

The GSIII and DNA are very similar phones. My brother has one and I just got the DNA. I persoanlly prefer HTC and IMO it is a better buitl phone. Speeds are comparable and even screen size and quality is. the DNA is a little newer, a litle nicer so if you can do the swap with no expense, go for it.

DNA has a lot going for it but I am passing it up for S3 as my next phone. DNA is a damn sexy device but I *need* a phone with a replaceable battery. Having (or not having) expandable memory doesn't matter to me... but for my power needs, S3 is the way to go.

Bottom line: get the phone that works for you.

Never understood this concept of swapping batteries out while your out.. it tried it once and I found it morr of an annoyance if anything to carry battery in my pocket . I'm never not near a charger and if I know for example ill be doing something all day where I may not be near one I have a battery pack in case of emergency. But to carry around more than one battery every day, just never got it.

Yep, I hear what you're saying... I don't like to have cables / chargers everywhere I need to be. It was never really an issue until my current phone -- HTC Rezound. I love HTC's build quality and that 720 screen is freakin' amazing -- however, its battery life sucks and blows at the same time. :p
