Getting the Nexus 6P selling the Nexus 6 gets penuts?

It took me one day to sell my G4 on Swappa so I could buy my 6P. I listed it for $10 less than the average price. Figured it was better to take a small loss than not get anything at all.

Does a factory reset do that?
Yes but more importantly you'll want to remove your Google account from the phone before the reset. If you haven't done so and only did a factory reset, set the phone up including your Google account and skip most everything else to get into settings. Chose Settings > Accounts > Google > then the 3 dot menu button to remove your account. Otherwise the next owner will need your account name and password.

Swappa is a joke. I had my listing up for nearly a week and it still has not been approved and yes I did all the requirements needed. I am going to use eBay like I normally did.

I have sold 4 phones on Swappa and I have never had a problem. I just sold a 6P 3day ago after only being listed for 4 hours. Staff has always been very responsive.

Thanks. Can Google make it any more confusing. Really I would think a factory reset would remove my account from my device.

How long does it take to sell? I had my phone up on Swappa for over a week and already lowered the price twice and still no buyers. Getting tired of no buyers and might go to eBay.

Why not just put it on both Swappa and eBay? Then cancel the one that doesn't sell.

The 6 is going on two years now, plus the $200 deals they've been on in the last 10 months.

Nicee. Swappa feels more personal to me, just sold both of my phones there as well.

Always meet at carrier store if selling on Craigslist and always deal locally and cash only.

Personally have never had a problem selling or buying things on Craigslist. Always met in well lit public areas, near other people (and bring friend to sit nearby). Just make sure that the IMEI/ESN is valid and that the phone is paid for in full (a quick call to the carrier or using the carrier's website to check the IMEI/ESN wil help if you are the buyer or trading).

Display and copy the IMEI/ESN on any phone you are selling, as well as the ABOUT PHONE menu, so that is they have "issues" with the phone that might require you taking the phone back, that you are getting the SAME phone you sold them back, in the same condition.

IMO, always try craigslist (If selling) before swappa or ebay. But buy with swappa or ebay. As a seller, no paypal or shipping fees. No buyers remorse or trumped up claims. I recently sold two phones on swappa, two weeks later sales are still open because neither buyer has bothered to rate or acknowledged delivery. So now I'm forced to wait a few weeks before touching the money incase the buyer suddenly decides they don't want the phone after all.
