i use YouMail for VM. it's free and there's even an app for it, but i dont use it. It intercepts VM, records the message, and sends it to your email. I have it txt me when a message is left and i turn my data on and check gmail.

For what it's worth, I combined WidgetLocker & Executive Assistant with Widgetsoid's "screen on while charging" for a Pre Exhibition-like effect.

Used mine 3 or 4 times yesterday after upgrading to GB. Seamless. Noticed no change at all. I guess I put about 3 hours on it (gotta love those extended VZW batteries)

Updated last night. No issues so far thankfully!

The screen looks sharper, almost like I have the brightness turned up (had to go look, nope still at about 30%). Things seem to move a bit fast even though I'm only on 3G out of the house and Wifi at home.

Maybe I'm not geekie enough, but otherwise, I can't find anything wrong. O

This is the one I used and it is 100% esactly the same as the OTA....only caveat....it will wipe your data.....so BACK UP before installing. You just have to download the RUU...it has the radio in it already..

Try pulling the battery and leaving out for a few minutes and also pull the SIM card for a few minutes also.

reinstall and try manual checking about 15 mins. later....if it doesn't pop up, try every 10 mins. until it happens......or look at my post above this one!

i downloaded the update. then dropped my TB and shattered the lcd and digitizer. and got my asurion replacement today and now NO OTA UPDATE for my new device!!!!!!! talk about a tease!!! anyone else have this issue... Missed the OTA Boat?

I downloaded on Thursday, 09-29, so I've had it just about a week now. No problems running any of my apps, and no reboots. I don't use VM at all, so that's not a problem. Everything is running smoother and faster, and I've seen about a 20% increase in battery life. We're still only 3G here in the wilds of Wyoming, and I only turn on the mobile radio if I'm not near a WiFi hotspot.

I developed an issue with the volume rocker on my original TBolt, i had loaded the latest Full RUU leak and was pretty happy with it. Very nervous about receiving a replacment unit (CLNR) due to all of the postings here from people that received many defective CLNR's. Of course, the unit I received had the latest Froyo version, but no other obvious issues. I decided to wait out the 2nd go round of Gingerbread, but soon discovered Navigation would not lock on with GPS. So, back to the Gingerbread leak I went!! Happy again! Thanks to the leaker's out there and the posters that have made it available, no telling when HTC/Verizon will officially push out the next version. I did call tech support and ask them why it was stopped, was told the last official release was in July, go figure.

Thanks TeamAndIRC for the leak, it worked flawlessly on my tbolt. First time doing something like this for me so it was rather scary seeing all the white screens and stuff. Fortunately all went well.

I flashed the RUU for GB earlier today and when I went to settings, software, status, the source is Verizon Wireless but everything else is blank. Is this normal or did I do something wrong?

Perfectly normal. My tbolt said the same thing until I got my first OTA update.
