You could probably try gtg's ultimate unbricker. Its on the xda site in the infuse development section.

Use Launcher Pro and you can hide all of that annoying bloatware. Wont see it again unless you bring it back yourself.

Or Titanium Backup Pro can "freeze" bloatware to ensure it never runs and is virtually invisible on your phone. All you do is unfreeze them before the GB update then freeze them back after. From what I understand, just being rooted won't block you from getting the update, but could someone who knows for sure confirm?

I wonder if in this release they will dump the samsung rfs file system in favor of the ext file system which so much faster. If not I am sure one you guys will post a way to do that after the release.

To be honest with you, theres not to much hackery going on here in the Android Central forums. Most of that is shown in the XDA Developers forums because its a Website devoted to Devs who make custom roms and hacks for all types of phones. So Most of the Custom ROMS and tricks you will find on that site. Although we do have a forum in this forum for hacking. There might be some stuff that gets posted in there, but It wont be much probably.

When was the last time you heard a company hit a deadline for software updates? I say this because I'm a software developer....... You get it done when you get it done.

You can have it 2 of 3 ways. Fast, Free, Correct. You pick.:p

Fast + Free is not correct.
Correct + Free is not Fast
Fast + Correct is not FREE
:-$

Hahaha i see what your saying.

We use that a lot in web dev. also. Except its Quality Price Speed.

It's also called a trilemma, and I first heard it applied to modifying cars. My dad told me I can have a goal of at most 2 of the 3: fast, cheap, or reliable, but that hitting 2 isn't guaranteed...

Since fast, doesn't seem like AT&T's strong suit in this regard, let's hope they can hit the other 2 with the gingerbread update. If you consider what you pay monthly for AT&T and what the Infuse cost (including your 2 year contract's value to AT&T), it probably already isn't cheap.
