The camera is never going to get improved since it is hardware. It takes decent outdoor and bright light pics and has zero shutter lag. Does take a second to focus. Pictures are fine for viewing on a computer screen.Camera also is outdated.

Which is why he should not get the Rezound at this point. It is too old. He should wait for the new HTC devices if he doesn't want a Motorola phone or the GNex. Samsung will be coming out with new phones, too, so he might want to wait for those. He needs to purchase a device based on it's performance out of the box b/c in all likelihood that's what he'll stick with for quite awhile, if not forever.
Before I ever rooted my phone(s) I made sure I knew how to unroot them as well .That way I knew I could undo everything I have done IF I ever neeeded to .
I just had to read the threads of rooting and unrooting in the stickies a couple of times ,and let everything sink in.I wasnt in a rush to just root ,went at my own pace.
But until I understood both processes I held off on rooting but thats just my nature I guess( what works for me)![]()
It needs a better speaker and they need to figure of the loud sqreech and dropped calls. Camera also is outdated. These are some things that are keeping me away.
I'm in a pretty decent 4g area to. Is your phone rooted? I would rather not get involved with the whole root thing if I don't need to.
Nope. I run it stock. It is very reliable. My signal strength is great.
Is anything I won't be able to do with the phone that I can with my old incredible? Like app wise.
So far the only thing I've seen app-wise is HBO Go, which is not optimized for ICS right now.
That being said, this thing blows away my old Incredible in such outrageous, awesome fashion that it's hard for me to even look at my ole beloved the same way anymore.
Very good to know. Does the weather bug elite widget work do you know?

Maybe very few apps. I have weather bug elite. It works just fine on ICS. Plus there new apps like Chrome Beta that our just for 4.0 devices only. You wont miss much. Its Android everything should work the same.
Thanks for the info. Now that gives some reasons to get the nexus over the rezound. I listen to Pandora radio a lot on my incredible through the speaker will it be as loud do you think?
Might not, but Volume+ solves that rather easily.
So just install that app and it will have the same volume?
If not better. We do need something like Voodoo Sound though, that'd be awesome. I use spotify/pandora FYI, but only through headphones.
Awesome. Now is there anything you have found oen your stock nexus phone that you don't like? BTW I am getting an extended battery and is there a kickstand case for it do you know?
Unsure about kickstand cases, but I presume one would be made eventually.
Not at all. I rooted because I like rooting, that's all. Stock ICS was/is amazing.
Like I said in my earlier post, they used the best tech. available in terms of screens on the GN. That doesn't automatically mean it beats LCD. I wouldn''t have any problem w/ GN owners touting a superior screen is Sammy would've used Super Amoled for Googles phone. Personally, I think color is a huge thing for stock device owners only. Rooted users can tinker with color capacitation w/ 3rd party software/apps. So it's fairly simple to find perfect saturation levels for viewing.

they dont use best tech, ah-ips-lcd is almost as hard as samoled to make.
let me make it clear, samsung makes Samoled, superclear LCD and S-LCD, and they picked samoled for their top device. if s-lcd is as good as samoled or ah-ips-lcd as you hope it would be, they'd be using it since its cheaper.
also samsung has better chance competing against LG's AH-IPS-LCD with SAMOLED HD than SLCD or SCLCD.
since those LCD displays are obviously inferior to retina display.
are you trying to tell me u can manually color calibration on smartphones?
