I have a pretty high frustration tolerance but after several days of non responsiveness to touch, I pulled the glass off this morning. The issue has become progressively worse over the past week to the point where apps wouldn't open and there was no response to FPS. I couldn't even enter new fingerprints - it wasn't possible to press "harder". Without the glass, the phone is as snappy and responsive as when I first go it. Going to put a flip case on for now until I feel like trying again. Very disappointed as the glass worked great on my Note 8.

On screen fingerprint scanners suck, tried them all including on the Galaxy S10, Note 10+, Huawei P30. I would never use them with a screen protector as they're already so bad and are a hit or miss. This coming from a guy who has never used a phone without a screen protector but this fingerprint scanner sucks so much I have no choice.

I tried registering my fingerprints in every way possible. It's always a hit or miss and it's a miss when I need to unlock my phone urgently.

I haven't installed mine yet. Waiting for the factory one to get worse before doing it. Seems a lot of people aren't liking this models whitestone this time.

Put mine on Monday. Working perfectly for me on my note 10+. I used the method of pushing down on the fingerprint sensor before the second curing.

Maybe that's the trick. Happy yours is working well. I'd be interested to know if the performance is as good a couple weeks out. Right now, the fps is working great without a screen protector.

No one is checking for normal wear and use which includes minor or even deep scratches, dings during trade in. Only requirement is the glass shouldn't be broken. Haven't been using screen protectors from many years and my screen is not scratched up to visible eye minus the micro scratches if you want to put it under a microscope.
Not saying don't use screen protector but for the trade in only requirement is no screen cracks.

Indeed , so should I be. Reminded me back when I was younger, I'd spend thousands getting paint protection film on my cars , only to find out when I came to trade or sell that it hardly made any increase in resale value. Same with seat covers keeping seats and steering wheel new. All these things just prevented me from enjoying my vehicle in a way .

I have always done my best to keep my things nice because I enjoy their beauty. that said, deterioration is a natural process and other than normal care, I don't go out of my way financially. I have a reasonable case on my device, but not locked in a vault, and the oem screen protector. I will use it and love it while using it and that's about it.
