I'm very new to androids and jumped in with a Spectrum LG. My old simple phone only had phone numbers in it, and when Verizon synced my contacts they pulled in every email address that had ever been received or sent from my computer in gmail. I have deleted all the email addresses of dead people and people i have no idea who they are. It was a bit of a mess, but I could find everyone for while. Then unfortunately I had to switch phones because it wasn't charging properly, and then I had to do this all over again when I used the backup feature. It pulled in all those old names again. How can I keep the contacts and phones numbers exactly how I want them in the phone - ideally being able to set this all up on the computer rather than on the phone. Doing them one by one in the phone is a pain. Please answer me in simple English without too much jargon, because as much as my phone is smart, I'm not!!!
