Gmail Contacts and G+ Integration help.

Let me edit what I had here:

I can't figure out how adding people to Google+ effects my Google Account Contacts.

For Instance:

3 People I had in "My Contacts" with gmail accounts "synced" Their profiles were added to their Contacts and that was that.

2 People I had without Gmail in their contacts; who, are not on Google+ were added to "Other Contacts". When I merged one to that person in "My Contacts" that was that and their email was there. The other one I deleted and it also deleted from Google+. Makes sense.

1 Person I added to Google+ with their new Gmail account; who, I did not have their Gmail in under their contact in "My Contacts" was also added to "Other Contacts" with their Gmail and Profile Link. I added their Gmail to their contact in "My Contacts" under after adding them to Google+. When I deleted the "Other Contact" it removed them from ONE circle in Google+ and left them in another.

1 Person I have a yahoo and gmail for in "My Contacts" was also added to "Other Contacts" when I added them to Google+. In "Other Contacts" they are listed with their profile and not Gmail. Also, when I look at my Circles in the Google+ app they don't have an email under their name like others do. When I merge their contact from "Other Contacts" with "My Contacts" they are removed completely from Google+. And, if I leave the merged contact the way it is and add them again they are still added to "Other Contacts" as a different person.

1 Contact I do not have a gmail for and they were also added to "Other Contacts". When merged, same thing, deleted. When added again. Back in "Other Contacts" as if I didn't merge in the first place.

Why do 2 people have no email under their name in the app? My other contacts don't have their emails visible in their Google+ profile but it's their on the app; and, these 2 people whose aren't visible on the app clearly have a Gmail account.

And if one person I added to google+ and then their email later went to "Other Contacts" does this mean I have to have their gmail in my contacts first for it to "Sync". Or, since I can't try it now: if I merged them with their contact in "My Contacts" since their Gmail is present (Where the others weren't) would it not have effected Google+?

So I think I've figured it out. The app just shows the emails from your phone. And the reason these people aren't syncing: they don't have their full name displayed.

I can't confirm because it doesn't seam to work without a last name.

Now I'm stumped all over.

If the name matches and the email matches I'm assuming the contacts will link. Because, if a contacts name matches and the url matches it will link. But not if the link is there but the names match.

But now why do some contacts get added from Google+ with no email to "Other Contacts" I'm so confused. Google Contacts needs a major overhaul. I have similar problems with Google Talk.

I'll look into this more tomorrow with fresh eyes, but I've noticed right now that all the G+ contacts in Other Contacts are only listing their first names.
