Anyone else's gmail doing a force close constantly recently? This started 2 days ago. Anytime I want to access emails past the ones that show when the application first opens, or try searching for a specific email, an error message stating it has been force closed pops up on my screen.

It is really annoying because I can't access any of my emails past yesterday from my phone.

Anyone able to help?

Thanks in advance

Did you try clearing the cache?

menu>settings>applications>running>gmail>clear cache

Try to clear your cache by doing this, menu>settings>applications>manage applications>gmail>clear cache.

To slow :(

Clearing Cache or data won't fix. This is a google issue. They are aware and are working on it.

Rebooting, and doing a batter pull has not worked for me.

The Cache is also at 0.00B and isn't letting me clear it.

Is that normal?

No its not normal to have your cache at 0. With so many others having problems you might have to just wait it out and let Google fix it.

Please post in that thread I linked to so that google is informed of everyone having this issue.

Did you clear data in the app?
Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>Running>Gmail>Clear Data

I am also running an unrooted 2.1 DInc. and my cache is at 0.00 and won't let me clear (obviously because it thinks there's nothing to clear)

I did have an issue with gmail a few days ago, but I think I rebooted or maybe Sense just FCed and it was fine after that. Its working fine now and I seem to be getting all my mail in a timely manner (instant).

Not sure about the 0.00 cache though.

Haven't tried clearing data because its working for me and I don't want to redo everything unless I have to.
