Gmail sync issue

So this has been happening to me the last week or so. I get all my mail from gmail just fine. However if I delete on my phone, the email will still be in my inbox. What I mean is if I go to my pc and load up gmail, the email is sitting in my inbox, unread, just like I never seen it before. Anyone ever experience this or know of a solution?

Clear your caches. I had this problem myself and that fixed it. Seems to fill up and won't allow that syncing to happen or something.

This worked for me as well. Haven't had the problem for a couple of weeks.

I was having the same issues with gmail. I just figured out what happened. I put the power bar widget on my phone and apparently I turned off the DATA sync button. When its turned off and you look through your settings you can't do anything but manually refresh. ( settings - accounts - google) but when its on there are now boxes with check marks to turn on and off as you need. Hope this helps. My gmail is now syncing.

actually clearing the cache through "Applications-->Manage Applications" did the trick.
