My pixel 3xl recently stopped automatically updating Gmail. It only updates if I restart the phone. Has anyone else had this problem? How do I fix this?

Hi, not having issues on my 3a but can try clearing cache,data,force stop it see if it gets corrected

Go to Settings>Accounts>Google, and make sure Gmail sync is turned on there.

Thanks, everyone. Tried those things. They were not the issue. Also talked to Google, thought it fixed it but did not. We have two pixel 3xls and both doing same thing. Our Pixel 1 has latest updates but does not have problem. Weird...

Try removing your Google account from the phone, then adding it back again.

Thanks, I contacted Verizon and think it was their problem which is now fixed. Don't know cause or fix.
