GN Release date?

I could have sworn someone just posted pictures that show they just shipped 100000+ units to Verizon this morning. How is your friend still testing them exactly?

Last I heard, he was testing them in Candyland over by the gum drop slide and licorice swingset. Samsungs role was manufacturing the device, if testing is still ongoing it's Google who's holding the iron on the ironing board @ Verizon. Why would Samsung be working on ICS, it's Googles unborn child, which is still in the womb for a few more days. Maybe it's just me but the whole "back in testing" theory, seems like it was hatched from a speculative source to begin with. Especially, since Samsung has been denying any delays in the UK or here in recent days.

I have a friend who builds the GN by hand piece by piece and has no help. He is trying to get some elves to help but being so close to Christmas they are really busy! He can only build about 2 an hour and is working 25 hour days so this may take awhile to get out. Just saying.

Verizon released the Bionic with bugs and they are still not fixed. They might as well just put this one on the shelf even though its not perfect.

UPDATE:
I talked to my friend this morning, and he said it is going to be released WEDNESDAY OF NEXT WEEK!
They are always to be delayed upon the releasing date, however, this time he was 80% sure that it's going to be the next wednesday.
btw, i yelled at them when i found out that their team was responsible for 2.2 Froyo update for Fascinate. i was like "DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY PPL ARE WAITING FOR THE UPDATE!?!!? THEY COULD STRANGLE YOU!!!!!"

Well, I guess it's all settled now.

Amazon UK says release on Dec 2 (that's on the AC home page). But that's Amazon UK...NOT the CDMA units for us and NOT Verizon. So, still, except for the OP that has a friend that knows everything, we really know nothing.

Didn't Panda say last night that the US would have the Nexus before other countries and if that's true the OP could be correct. I don't think we will see the release this week but next week or early the following week would be before Dec 2nd.
