I use Go Launcher and I was wondering if there was a way to get rid of the app bar on the home screen. I know there is a way to make the place where the icons go blank, but I was wondering if there was a way to get rid of it completely so I have a little bit more screen to work with. I guess it's called the dock? Any way to remove it?

I don't think so. The dock is there so you don't have to have icons all over your screen, it's there to save space.

i dont think go launcher has this option (been a while since i played with it)
but i think ADW does.

also just checked APEX launcher (my launcher of choice...does everything go does, minus the widgets (android pro widgets works) and themes (never used them anyway)) and it allows Hiding of the Dock.

I've been playing with it for a couple weeks, and the most I was able to do is hide the dock background. You will still have icons, but the bar will be gone, which makes the dock area seem less intrusive. It's under preferences, background, dock.

No, you can hide if, but the area at the bottom is still "reserved" and unusable.

I don't know if this is the correct place for this question but I deleted the app drawer icon from the home screen and now I can not get it back. I can put the app drawer app on the home screen and use that us it is sooooooo slow. Any ideas?
