Hello, I couldn't find a topic about this so I made one myself. I am asking you for your opinion on go launcher. I admit I made the same topic in general discussion but here we are a smaller community and I have a better chance that someone actually notice my post. That's why I made one here. So, the launcher seems quite popular, with a lot of people having it downloaded. I also tried it for a couple of hours before uniinstalling it. I am not sure if I want to keep it. It does look great and work flawlessly but I have to additional download and install some basic widgets like calendar. I also noticed that it has a separate store for apps. Is that store save to use? Also all these apps that it offering that can boost my memory like the 360 cleaner and du booster - are they safe? I mean my Motorola works great for now and one shouldn't fix something that works. I am afraid they could tweak my phone in a bad manner. So what do you think about all this.

I've used go launcher and no you don't have to use their widgets just drag those suggestions to the trash. I've also downloaded from their store without any problems. But the launcher tends to use a lot of ram which drains the battery. So I'm back to lucid launcher

Let me tell you a secrete the best thing is don't install any other after market app and keep the device over the stock position always, but I am pretty much sure if we can't play with our device then what is the use of ..???? Go Launcher, 360 cleaner, dubooster..... are some of the most popular apps I know at first it feels what will happen if I ??? but tell you what I personally user Go launcher, 360 antivirus (which included the 360 cleaner), dubooster... etc. I never feel that they are ... !! Infact some of these tools are way more perfect than the stock application. I don't think you need to raise any concern unless you are getting the application from the Google Play Store because for the application to be live over the store needs to pass certain automated security check. So, if Google says they are working then I think they are the people we can trust on ! Recently Google has made changes over to their store policy to improve user experience. But yes, if you are getting the pirated version of any application ..... over some other stores then I think your security might be at risk !! I don't think there is any need to worry about application if you are getting it from playstore, and yes do keep a close look after the permissions of the application before installing.

Apex is another popular launcher, and it actually seems a good fit for the Moto G, though i havent had a chance to really use my phone yet, i did explore the launcher and do setup.

I stick with the Smart launcher 2. It is simple, customizable, offers a completely new look. It doesn't require almost any permissions which I respect. Give it a try!, :)

I agree Smart Launcher does the job well. Moto G has 1 gb ram so stay away from launchers like go, everything me, aviate etc. they need more ram and that will interfere with performance and multi tasking.
