Go SMS with Fast Boot Enabled

I recently switched on fast boot so I could shut my phone off at night without a long wait to turn back on. It seemed to be working great for me until I noticed this morning I couldn't send a text message. I had data signal and could cruise the net but couldn't text. Kept getting a message not sent notice.

Is this a well known issue? Does.it happen to you? If I waited long enough would it have worked? ( I needed to send a text right away so I restarted.)

Are there other popular apps tanked by fast boot?

I recall seeing fast boot affected some apps. That may be one of them.

I was hoping to get some folks with experience.with it. Go sms is pretty popular and.so is fast boot.

I'd stop using fast boot. Or, don't know if it would help, but may be try toggling the phone in and out of airplane mode? From my experience with PC's and the hibernate feature (which is what fast boot does to your phone), some software just doesn't play nice with hibernate. It's either not designed to work with it or the software/app relies on some underlying OS function that gets reset and/or borked when coming out of hibernate.

Fastboot warns that it may affect some apps... problem is that there is no list of apps. If you think its causing a problem.. turn it off and add that app to the list.

Is there a list somewhere or am I taking you too literally?
I'd really like to.find others with the same config to see if it is a fluke.or indeed an incompatible app. If so i'll email the developers in case they'd like to.fix it.

No.. thats what I'm saying, there is no actual list. I wish there was... Its a guessing game.
