Goes from rooted to unrooted

I have an HTC One on AT&T and I have root access, but when I check it with root checker basic, it says it does not have root access, so I reset the phone and when it comes back on I use root checker basic and it says I do have root access. So can anyone telling me what's going on? I want to put on some emulators that need to have root access to work, but I want to put them on after I have this issue resolved. Any ideas?

Hmmm... Never heard of this before. Well restart your phone and check you still have root.. It might just have been a mishap the first time that you used root checker. Don't factory reset either. That will leave you with messed up root permissions. When you use the emulators if you don't have root they won't work. If they do then they will ask for root

It turns out I just had to update the SU binary, thanks for the thought though!
