Going For It, but I have Questions

I'm going to buy a Note 8 from Samsung with the trade offers. $400 for a Pixel XL I picked up for $200 is too hard to pass up.

But my questions are....

1. Has anyone had issues with Samsung's Trade in process and got a lower payout or told their trade in was not up to snuff?

2. How are updates? Mostly Unlocked vs. Verizon versions

Read up a few threads on the web to make sure you keep lots of documentation about the condition of your device.
Pack the crap out of it before you ship it.

Updates on Samsung are always somewhat unpredictable.

But the device is quite awesome!

Samsung gave me a $450 credit and Verizon paid off the $350 balance on the phone I was currently using. All with no problem and my bill went down by $30 a month.
